United States Geological Survey For general information on aerial and satellite imagery from the USGS, visit their Maps and other Products webpage. The National Air Photography Program is an interagency Federal effort coordinated by the USGS, which uses NAPP products to revise maps. The NAPP program encompasses the entire lower 48 states and Hawaii. The EROS Data Center is the major U.S. government source for satellite imagery and aerial photography. The Air Photo Summary Record System lists all air photo projects done by Federal agencies and many done by state and local agencies in the U.S. A CD-ROM version of APSRS is available for patron use in the Map Room.
