The goal of this project is to bring parents, educators, and those working with families a wealth of information about helping their children get ready for, and succeed, in school from the early years through high school. We believe that when parents, schools and communities work together, children succeed. The Idaho PIRC Project is administered by Family Advocate Program in Boise. It is a statewide collaboration of five non-profit, parent education and support programs located in Boise, Caldwell, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho Falls and Pocatello. Our purpose is to: Increase parental understanding of child development and ways to encourage that development and growth. Strengthen partnerships among parents (including parents of children from birth to age five), teachers, principals, administrators and other school personnel in meeting the educational needs of children.
