Note: Due to the closing of Chester's Restaurant, where the meeting was originally scheduled, the meeting was held at Shula's Steak 2. Discussion issue 1: Non-profit status (Matt Klaben, attorney w/ Calfee Hater). There are several options. Matt mentioned several but he notes that he is NOT an expert in this field (Non-profit). He suggested getting an attorney and/or accountant that specializes in non-profit. Two major discussion points: non-profit vs. charitable. Both have their merits but charitable has much higher "hurdles" to constantly jump. Bill will check with his accountant and attorney regarding possible fees. Discussion issue 2: Reverse Raffle : tabled Discussion issue 3: 2000Golf Outing (Bill V) currently has 36 people signed up; most haven't paid. 1st Tee time is at 9:28am at Sweetbriar.
