These lessons and activities cover a variety of topics, including multiculturalism, human rights, gender equity, global awareness and many other related issues. This site has been designed for and by teachers. Its purpose is simple; to save time in locating good lesson plans and online learning activities. Under the subject/curriculum headings in the left margin, hundreds of practical learning activities can be found. They are listed by specific learning outcomes/topics and by grade levels. In the header you will find a summary of the school diversity goals that our Advisory Committee established to guide the development of the site and the selection of lesson plans/learning activities. The lesson plans and student learning activities have been screened for commercialism and their general educational value. However, teachers should still review them carefully to ensure that they are appropriate for their students. Teachers should also check their respective provincial/territorial curricula and relevant school board guidelines.
