The meeting will be held in the Great Room at the WVSA Arts Connection building. The morning will begin with an opportunity for participants to informally network with your colleagues over pastries and coffee, followed by a brief talk by Crystal Simon from Serve DC, who will describe the City Wide Early Childhood Literacy Initiative that she is leading. The bulk of the morning will be spent working in large and small groups to explore connections between programs, identify common challenges, and brainstorm solutions. WVSA is located at 1100 16th Street, NW (on the corner of L and 16th), two blocks east of the Red Line's Farragut North, and is accessible from the S2, S4 and S6 metro buses.
