     Extractions: The Classic Rock Factory was born in the working class town of Kearny, NJ, some 20 minutes from New York City.  The band started several years ago as a local jam band utilizing various local area musicians playing private parties and festivals.  As time went by and the word got out, the band started to get requests to play by local bars and clubs. Now the band plays on a regular basis in the Hudson/Passic/Essex County area of northern New Jersey. The band plays the most "classic" of the classic rock.  This is the music most commonly played on Q104.3, New York's classic rock station.  Bands like Credence Clear Water Revival, Eric Clapton, Cream, the Rolling Stones, Yardbirds, Led Zeppelin, Beatles, and Pink Floyd, are just some of the music that the Classic Rock Factory covers. What to expect from a Classic Rock Factory show?  Every song played is a song that people can recognize from the radio.  The band tries to limit the amount of music from little known or obscure bands.  Also, unlike many younger musicians, the band is very concerned about how loud they play.  The Classic Rock Factory plays at a level that incourages people to stay a long time and enjoy themselves.  Most bar owners see a major increase in sales during the sets played by the band.
