Extractions: J. Grant Swank, Jr. The Word of God promises the believer that to be "absent from the body" is to be "present with the Lord" (II Corinthians 5:8). "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes to righteousness and with the mouth confession is made to salvation" (Romans 10:9-10). Ronald Reagan did just that. He accepted the Christ gift of mercy. Therefore, today his soul has slipped from his mortal frame to make its way into the presence of Christ. "And this is the promise that God has promised us — eternal life" (I John 2:25). "For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life" (Galatians 6:8). Mary Beth Brown’s book, "Hand of Providence: The Strong and Quiet Faith of Ronald Reagan" (available via WorldNetDaily for $16.99) sets forth Reagan’s trust in the Lord God. The author uses the President’s own words of spiritual conviction as well as his writings regarding Christian faith to accent his reliance upon Christ.

Extractions: Inspector Gadget Storyboards These storyboards are from the first season of the Inspector Gadget show produced in 1983 at Nelvana in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I did not do these storyboards, in fact I didn't do any storyboard work on this show at all. I just found these in a file folder a little while ago and thought that some people might like to see them from a production point of view. The three pages shown here are from the show#28 titled Bermuda Triangle . The pages shown here are 27, 28 and 33. I did the design for the peg legged mad agent in the third panel here. According to my personal work log for this show, I had to design the following: Machines:

I believe the most difficult thing about drinking glass collecting is finding information on them. Hopefully other glass collectors will find this web site to be a useful reference source to identify a glass, the date issued and how it was distributed. If you have any additional information about a certain drinking glass or series, please contact me, so that I may add this information to be shared with others.

Cartoon Voices By Mark Evanier. POV Online An informative overview of the business of voice acting its history, how it works and how to get in. http://povonline.com/cols/COL101.htm
Extractions: ORIGINALLY PUBLISHED 9/27/96 In the last four days, I've received three letters and two phone calls from people who want to get into the field of doing cartoon voices. One of the calls almost stunned me with its nonchalant assumption that this is an easy-entrance business; this lady seemed to think it was like signing up to earn frequent-flyer mileage. I imagine her deciding she wants to be in the movies, then calling up Martin Scorsese and saying, "Hi. I'm a clerk-typist here in Dayton, Ohio. Is it okay if I star opposite Robert DeNiro in your next movie?" It would be wrong to tell these aspiring voice artists that what they want is impossible. In show business, nothing is impossible, except an honest accounting of profits. Not that long ago, Conan O'Brien was a writer and bit-part performer. If he'd told me he wanted to take over for David Letterman on NBC, I'd have gone, "Uh-huh, well, I wouldn't bet on that ever happening." Still, when folks ask me about something like getting into cartoon-voicing, I feel I'd be doing them a disservice not to clue them in that it might not be all that easy to attain. Is it possible? Of course. But then so is winning the lottery. The first cartoon voice artist was probably Walt Disney. He made the first sound cartoons and he cast himself, altogether appropriately, as Mickey Mouse. Many of the early makers of animated talkies looked no further than their own staffs, conscripting artists and secretaries to stand, often trembling, before the microphones.

The Superfriends Gallery All your favorites are here, plus their sidekicks, and the Legion of Doom! Wonder Twin Powers, activate! http://members.aol.com/Polecattt/SuperFriends.html
Extractions: Picture Gallery! Super Friends debuted on ABC Saturday mornings on September 8, 1973. The cartoon was an adaption of DC Comics' Justice League comic which featured Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and other popular DC heroes together as a crimefighting team. The cartoon featured character designs by artist Alex Toth who also designed many of Hanna-Barbera's original superhero characters such as Birdman and Space Ghost . In the first version of the show the heroes were overshadowed by their sidekicks: Wendy, Marvin, and Wonder Dog (who were watered down versions of Shaggy, Velma, and Scooby-Doo) and mainly fought ecological threats and learned about the dangers of polution. When the show was re-tooled in 1977 as The All-New Super Freinds Hour , the team was given new sidekicks, the Wonder Twins, and their adventures turned to more straight forward action. As a result the show became even more popular and ran in various forms for the next decade. One of the most popular versions was The Challenge Of The Superfriends that added additional Justice League members such as The Flash, Green Lantern, and Hawkman, and pitted the team againest The Legion Of Doom, a conglomeration of 13 of their most sinister foes.
