Home Page May your roadster experiences be as rewarding to you as these have beento me. tom (Iron Butt) phelan. Go on the Trip 2000. tomph@mchsi.com. http://home.mchsi.com/~tomph/intro.html
Extractions: Trip 2000 No, it's not the year - it's a model number! Little did I know at the time that it would also be an adventure for many others, many of whom I'd had never met before and many whom I now fondly call friends. The web pages that are linked below were originally posted in 1997 during the actual trip across country and during my stay at Classic Datsun Motorsports. During those 2 months from the middle of June to middle of August of 1997 my roadster was completely disassembled, inspected, re-plated, re-coated, repainted, and reassembled under the watchful eye of Les Cannady and his crew. Les said it was the fastest restoration he had ever seen. For his part in this and his more than generous hospitality I am forever grateful. Les, I still owe you. The original pages were lost during one of the inevitable ISP changes we all go through. Since then there have been several more ISP changes as well as a family relocation to North Carolina. It is just now that I have finally been able to piece the original pages back together again and get them ready to republish. The text stands unedited and still contains all the errors in typing and grammar that they had when I first tapped them out using Windows for Workgroups Notepad on my trusty laptop at the end of each day. Hard to believe that was over 4 years ago. During the page restoration process I have only changed a few link names and modified some of the HTML code so that I can easily transport them in the event that there is another ISP change in the future. I figure that should happen about 6 months.
Tom Phelan's Large Family Page The phelan Family. From us to you Since then, Rita, my son tom and I have triedsome bike tours. Actually, these should be called more appropriately events. http://home.mchsi.com/~tomph/trip/family.html
Extractions: The Phelan Family Hi! Thanks for stopping by. We, like many others, are just feeling our way along here as we try to find how to express ourselves and develop an identity in this new world of on-line technology. Along this journey we'll continue to experiment with new commands and changing looks until we find something we really like. Of course, the possibility exists that this will never happen, but then, half the fun of a journey is in the travel. Whether or not we reach a final destination one thing is for sure. This is supposed to be fun for us and hopefully of some interest to you. Let us know if we succeed in some small way. Here's what's available so far. This is a picture of my '68/'69 Datsun 2000 Roadster. I am in the process of restoring this car to it's original condition. If you follow the link below you can find out more about me and this car. You can also follow along with my experiences while I travel across country on a quest to get this car restored. I hope to be able to post updates as to where I am and how I'm doing as I drive from Long Island, New York to Vista, California. I will try to do this on a somewhat daily basis but this will be controlled by the availability of internet access more than anything else. I also hope to be able to put some pictures on these pages so you can see some of the places I visit on the way out. It will be interesting to see if this actually works.

CC Phelan : Tom Thimgan a permanent churchhome in my own community for some time, we ended up here at CalvaryChapel of phelan in 1993. In Jesus Wonderful Name, Pastor tom Thimgan. http://www.calvaryphelan.org/ccp_tom.php
Extractions: I was born in La Mirada, Ca., and grew up in San Bernardino, Ca. Our family attended the Methodist church when I was young, but I came to know Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior in December of 1984, at a small church here in Phelan. I soon was attending Calvary Chapel of the High Desert, where I grew to know and love the Calvary-style Bible teaching and worship. My wife, Patty was saved in December of 1985. I headed up our prison outreach for nearly five years before taking over as worship leader in1998. I was a semi-professional musician playing nightclubs before I was saved, and have always had a deep love for music. My "first love" in ministry had always been teaching God's word, but the Lord has given me an ever-growing love and passion for creating and playing music that glorifies Him.

Extractions: Rathdowney 2-7 Portlaoise 2-6 The drawn game was laced with controversy when only one umpire operated at either end, both sides claimed that they were denied certain scores at the end. Rathdowney claimed a late point but the umpire disagreed and the sides had to do it all again. The boys from the brewery town of Perrys were the reigning champions, and had to go to two meetings to claim the title a year earlier, as they did in the drawn game. Rathdowney set the pace as Portlaoise were slow out of the stalls, Willie Finane pointed from play after five minutes, Joe Fitzpatrick added two more in as many minutes then, when a great ball came out of defence by Steven Maher. Fitzgerald, the star of the drawn game added a second point and now only a goal separated them. Rathdowney had suddenly lost their way and gave away a few unnecessary frees. Exchange of points Then, ten minutes from half time Rathdowney scored a 65. Peter Gray lofted the ball goalwards, it broke to David Guilfoyle, he pulled first time and the ball beat defenders all ends up and suddenly, two goals divided the sides, another exchange of points left Portlaoise trailing 0-4 to 2-4 at the interval. The second half saw Portlaoise introduce Eddie Colbert for Stephen Phelan but again Willie Finane opened the scoring with an excellent point.
Laois Nationalist - 1999/05/14: Castletown In A Class Of Their Own phelan, tom phelan, Robert Delaney, Paul Cuddy in defence, David Cuddy at midfieldand in attack Fionán OSullivan, Pat phelan, Cyril Cuddy did most. http://archives.tcm.ie/laoisnationalist/1999/05/14/story11847.asp
Extractions: Castletown 2-17 Clonad 1-7 THIS SHC scoreline tells its own story. It was a Sunday evening stroll for the champions of two years ago as they served a warning to Portlaoise that they want the title back. It might be hard to judge them on this display but they certainly looked in a class of their own. Clonad were slower to the ball and lacked penetration in attack, Pat Phelan opened their account with a point. Five minutes later Cyril Cuddy shot a goal from 30 metres before Clonad got their opening point before Clonad got their opening from Colin Magill after 12 minutes. Liam Aherne added a second point in the fifteenth minute, Castletown responded with three in a row to lead 1-4 to 0-2 after twenty minutes. Andy Bergin got a Clonad point to leave Clonad trailing 0-3 to 1-6 at the interval. Castletown now took over. David Cuddy added a good goal and a point to leave his side ahead 2-10 to 0-4 with 15 minutes left. For the losers none tried harder than Pat Bowe, John Sheeran, Pat Norton, Andy Dunne in defence, Liam McGrath at midfield. The attack depended too much on Colin Magill, Gordon Conroy and Greg Norton.
Mike Phelan Donora Street CD NEWS FLASH A review of my CD from tom Clancy of the Irish Herald MikePhelan Donora Street Donora Street Music CB99001 Donora Street is a sweetly http://www.cyberbites.com/mikephelan/
Extractions: Donora Street is a sweetly crafted, engaging album from local singer-songwriter Mike Phelan. Phelan plays mostly with Marley's Ghost, a party band for the musically-minded who have been playing together for over 15 years. Their 2001 album Live At The Freight is a splendid introduction to their diverse musical passions. The four band members have never seen a genre they could not embrace: reggae, American roots, bluegrass, blues, folk, traditional, gospel and country. Their musical reach makes the term eclectic seem hopelessly inadequate.
