Wyalusing Boys Basketball uncertainty ended for the Wyalusing Valley boys basketball team on matt Strouphanded out five assists fish paced Wyalusing with 14 points, followed by Zach http://www.rocket-courier.com/permanent/boysbasketball.html
Extractions: Wyalusing Valley's Preston Hitchcock shoots over a trio of Troy defenders during the Trojans' 55-41 win in the opening round of the District Four Class AA playoffs at Mansfield University on Feb. 19. Photo by Bob Hutchings. Rams Fall to Troy in Playoffs By Pete Hardenstine Wyalusing coach Mark Fogel went with a smaller starting lineup than he used all season in an attempt to stay with the quicker Trojans. The ploy worked early as Wyalusing held an early 10-6 lead midway through the first period, thanks to five points by Jared Johnson. Troy closed out the period with an 8-1 run to take a 14-11 advantage into the second stanza. The teams exchanged baskets through the early moments of the period. Leading 21-15 with 3:02 to play, Troy went on a 15-1 run that bridged halftime to take command of the game. While he felt that the smaller lineup helped him early, it was just a stop-gap measure to an insolvable problem against Troy. Trailing 38-18 early in the third period, the Rams were able to cut the margin to 10 points entering the fourth quarter with a 12-2 run led by Ben Fish and Preston Hitchcock with six points each. Troy was able to cruise home through the fourth quarter to advance in the playoffs.

Matt McCabe For VP 1 sister (Maggie), a dog, and roughly 20 fish, depending on for the first half offreshman year matt made the He tried out for the basketball team freshman year http://in.sjprep.org/swim/mattmccabe/bio.htm
Extractions: Matt was born in Boundbrook, New Jersey on January 8th 1987. Over the next 15 years he along with his family moved seven times, to four different states, finally residing in North Wales, Pennsylvania, with his 5 brothers (Tom 07, John 08, Austin, Kieran, David) and 1 sister (Maggie), a dog, and roughly 20 fish, depending on the day of the week. For the majority of his life thus far (9 years), Matt lived in Doylestown, attending and graduating from Our Lady of Mount Carmel grade school. He decided to come to the Prep relatively easily, because of its great atmosphere, and challenging and prestigious environment. Not to mention that both his dad and his grandfather, and 4 uncles went to the Prep. So for the first half of freshman year Matt made the 1 hour and 10 minute train ride, then 20 minute bus ride to school... every day. He tried out for the basketball team freshman year, but like most of us he was cut. Instead he ended up doing Mock Trial, which went on to win the city championships. The next year Matt joined the prep swim team, and went on to co-found the Ultimate team in his junior year. Also in his junior year, Matt was elected homeroom representative, and borough council "Jr. Councilman". All through his time at the prep matt has played intramural volleyball and basketball, and outside of school CYO basketball and volleyball.
Spearfishing In Skatahori By Matt Barrett: Part 4: Surf's Up turn it on myself to the horror of Mitch and the amusement of the fish. Talk at thebar turns to the Junior basketball Championships being hosted by Greece. http://www.mattbarrett.net/spearfishing/spearfishing_surf.html
Extractions: Surf's Up July 21st Giant waves. I know it as soon as I wake up. We go to Katinas for breakfast but I am so excited I can barely eat my tomato and feta cheese omelet. First Mitch shows up in full traveling regalia. We tell him it is unlikely the dolphin will come today. He is willing to accept that. We wait on the dock just in case but we all know there is no way a hydrofoil is going to risk leaving the safety of Zea Marina on a day like today. Waves are breaking over the dock almost continuously and we stand for an hour admiring and avoiding them. Mitch still looks unsure and we tell him even if by some miracle the dolphin comes he'd be crazy to get on it. There is nothing worse then a flying dolphin in rough weather. Everyone gets sick. Sometimes it has to just sit floundering on the waves because it is the only stable position when the weather gets too rough. Besides, tonight is the ferry, a spectacle he cannot afford to miss. Mitch feels better and we go to the beach to attempt to body surf. The waves are pounding the beach and the people on it. Joan laughs at the idea of bodysurfing saying that the waves only break about ten feet from shore.
Spearfishing In Skatahori By Matt Barrett: Part 7: Skalahori underwater sightseeing, but there are very few fish big enough they begged him tocome to Athens to play basketball. Amarandi will die, and Dada matt will die http://www.mattbarrett.net/spearfishing/spearfishing_skalahori.html
Extractions: Skalahori There are several large old stone buildings facing the sea. They look like fortification but we are told later that they were built in the 1700's for drying acorns that were used for tanning leather. "Not wolves but wild dogs that were brought over from England and escaped. Now they roam the mountains and kill the sheep." Adonis tells us. There is a beautiful old cafeneon on the opposite side of the square, deserted. I ask about it. "The owner became old and retired and nobody has come to express an interest in reopening it," Adonis says. I tell him I want to move to Skalahori and have my own cafeneon. He encourages me to do it. As the sun sets behind the mountain we get up to go. I feel capable of driving but I would rather do it while there is still light. I stop at the fourno and buy a loaf of hot bread for Aglaia's because the Xidera bread is of such poor quality. We kiss everybody goodbye and promising to return we drive up the narrow main street that leads to the top of the village where it connects to the road to Vatoussa. At the first opportunity we stop because everyone has to go to the bathroom. I pull onto a dirt road where we are greeted with a dramatic sunset over the mountains to the west. The sky is streaked with different shades of red and purple and when we get back into the car I am more intoxicated then before. I barely manage to keep the car on the winding roads while engaging Amarandi in a philosophical discussion of death. She asks me if we will all die and I tell her yes, and no.
Alleyoop.com, The Basketball Page For Thinking Fans The lowest rated point guards are all fishout-of-water Stockton will end up on top,and matt Bullard won because he takes great care of the basketball, but he http://www.alleyoop.com/ftb/111901.htm
Extractions: One of the more commonly used statistics in the NBA world is also one of the most misguided. The assist-to-turnover ratio has been around for years, even though it is obviously flawed and there's a fairly easy rating that's much more useful. Today I'm going to discuss Assist-Turnover Ratio's flaws and propose a replacement. Assist-to-turnover ratio has been put forward as a way to rate how point guards do their job of handling the ball, but it's clear to any fan over the age of five that the top guys on the list aren't the best ballhandlers. Let's take a look at the top eleven from last year: 2000-01 Leaders: Assist-Turnover Ratio (min: 1000 minutes) mcinnis, jeff lac 3.96 williams, alvin tor 3.95 johnson, avery san 3.95 jackson, mark nyk 3.78 brandon, terrell min 3.76 best, travis ind 3.72 vanexel, nick den 3.64 blaylock, mookie gsw 3.61 hoiberg, fred chi 3.55 stockton, john uta 3.51 bullard, matt hou 3.50 Jeff McInnis of the Clippers led the league in this category. He's a decent point guard, but I don't recall him getting a lot of mentions as the NBA's best point man. But at least the guys on the top of the list are decent point guards ... until you hit the Stockton conundrum.
