The qualifying criteria for the Hall of Fame includes having played in at least 10 tournaments; number of championships, runner-up teams, all-tournament honors, MVP selections and sportsmanship awards won; continued participation after playing days are done; and four of the six voting members on the committee must vote for each candidate. The six players inducted Saturday are Hall of Fame members 80-85. Greg Huebschen , Juneau A 20-year veteran of the tournament, Huebschen played with three teams in two divisions (Juneau ANB, Juneau AEI and the Arctic Lights). He was all-tournament in the AA and A brackets four times and has played in 15 championship game in two divisions. He has been on the champion team 10 times. Steve Bavard , Juneau A 24-year veteran of the tourney, Bavard has been on two teams over the years with almost all of those years spent with the Arctic Lights. He is a three-time all-tournament selection in the AA and A brackets and was MVP once. He has been in 15 championship games, winning 12 titles. He also coached the Arctic Lights for three years when he was injured. Pat Kemp , Juneau Kemp is another long-time veteran of the Arctic Lights and he is a former Juneau-Douglas High School player. Kemp has been in 14 tournaments with the Arctic Lights and in 1985 he was MVP while playing for Juneau Merchants Wharf. He has played on 13 championship teams and also won a sportsmanship trophy in 1981.
